The Storage Box, along with the Watchtower, were updated to their current models in Update 0.Aside from starting a new project on your own from scratch, you can explore what Buildbox has to offer in any of the following ways.Originally, the Storage Box had a different model, which was a blue box, with a grey outline around the box's edges.Ideally, Storage Boxes should not be built when there is a Base's Stockpile nearby.Storage Boxes should not be overly built as it will contribute to msupp consumption.Placing Storage Boxes behind sandbag walls will allows vision over them, allowing players to shoot or spot from them.You can vault over Storage Boxes by pressing the spacebar, which will get you on top of them.It will instantly be destroyed if run over by any vehicle stronger than a standard truck, such as tanks, APCs or Half-tracks. Similar to other structures in their category, Storage Boxes are immune to small arms, but they can be destroyed by any weapon using 12.7mm or explosives. Doing so will not trigger Friendly Fire, resulting in weapon restriction. Unlike other player-built structures, the Storage Box is considered 'Neutral,' meaning it can be freely destroyed by any player, regardless of their faction. It must be built by hand, and cannot be built using a Construction Vehicle. The Storage Box is built using a hammer and 25 Basic Materials. Alternatively, you can do this by pressing V when you're right next to it. The Storage Box's menu has a "Submit Large Item" button, where it submit any large item you are equipped with and put it into the inventory. pressing Shift+E to select a specific box if there are multiple around you.The Storage Box can only be accessed on foot. Unlike other player-built structures, it cannot be locked or claimed by a Squad, so items can be freely transferred in and out of it (regardless of faction).ĭue to its ease of access, it is useful to have some near the frontline to quickly and safely store recovered or looted equipment, which can be transported back to a base at a later time. All infantry equipment - does not stack.Bandages stack, but Blood Plasma does not.Concrete Materials and Large Materials - does not stack.Ammo magazines, raw resources, and various materials - stack up to 100.Its has 15 inventory slots, which has different properties for different items.
